Our affiliate program is currently open only to our web hosting
customers, who have been with us for 30 days or more and have accounts
in good standing. To become an affiliate, you must apply and you must
be approved by Aquest Hosting.
We will pay $50 for every qualified “new customer” you refer to us. New accounts will be reviewed before payouts are made so please understand what we pay for, and what we do not pay for.
What is a qualified ‘New Customer Referral’?
- The new account is for a ‘New Customer’.
- The New Customer’s account must be in good standing for a minimum of 60 days, before being approved for payment.
- The referrer’s account must be in good standing at all times.
- The referrer and the referred customers are in compliance with the letter and intent of all Aquest Hosting’s policies.
We do not pay if:
- The new account is not for a new customer.
- The new customer uses a Promotional code for any special or promotion we are running.
- The referrer’s account is not in good standing.
- The ‘referred’ account is not in good standing.
- The ‘referred’ account is not active, such as, but not limited to:
- The domain name is not active on the internet, or is not pointing to Aquest Hosting's
servers..
- The website does not contain substantial, real, and valid content.
- The site is not showing signs of activity.
- The site has content in violation with Aquest Hosting’s policies.
- The site owner has violated Aquest Hosting’s policies.

Additionally:
- All accounts are subject to review and approval before payment is made, and if there is an indication that this is not a legitimate new customer, it will not qualify for a referral payment.
- If the referrer is referring new accounts that close down just after payments are made, or if there is any other irregular activity, the relationship with the affiliate will be terminated, and pending payments will be withheld.
- Any referrer may have payments withheld longer than 60 days at the discretion of Aquest Hosting to allow time to verify that the new account has been formed in good faith and in compliance with the intent of this program.
Look, we want to pay you, so please play fair!
We really do want to pay you for new customers you refer to Aquest Hosting, however, we will not tolerate any affiliates that try to abuse this program in any way that is not consistent with the intentions of our program or policies.
We commend those who are eager to earn money, but only if it is done honestly and
fairly.
Two-Tier Affiliate Program
You get paid when affiliates that you referred to us, sign up new customers.
We will pay you $5.00 for each qualified new customer referred to us by affiliates that you referred to us.
FAQ’s
Can anybody sign up? -Right now, only Aquest Hosting customers in good standing that have been with us for more than 30 days can become Affiliates.
How do I sign up? -You sign up for the program in the Aquest Hosting control panel (https://admin.aquesthosting.com) on the ‘Affiliates | Account Settings’ page.
How much do I get paid? - $50 for new customers referred directly by you, and $5 for new customers referred by those customers. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
How will I get paid? –We will mail you a check to the address on file in our affiliate system. It is your responsibility to make sure this data stays up to date.
Can I get credit for customers I sent to you before I was in the affiliate program? –No. Only referrals sent after you are an approved affiliate will be applicable for payment.
When does Aquest pay the affiliates? –We will process payments between the 10th and 15th of each month.
How long from the time I refer a new customer until the time I get paid? –By default there is a minimum 60 day waiting period between the time the new customer signs up and the time it is reviewed for payment to the affiliate. You will be eligible for payment on the next payment cycle after the 60 day waiting period ends. This
means that in general you will recieve payment 60 - 90 days after the account signs
up.
Do I get paid for every new account I send? – No. We pay for new
customers, not new accounts. If the customer has other accounts or has had other accounts with us, it is not eligible for payment.
How will I know if my referred account has signed up? –Email and Reports:
- Email: If you choose, you will receive emails each time a new account signs up that has used you as a referrer. This does not mean they are a qualified ‘New Customer’. Whether or not the account qualifies for payment will be determined after the waiting period (see Waiting Period).
- Reports: You can view reports in the Aquest Hosting control panel.
How does Aquest determine if the account is for a ‘New Customer’? – We will use every means at our disposal to check the account. Among other things we check:
- if we ever hosted the domain name in the past
- if the credit card number matches any credit card numbers on file
- if the customer’s name is in our system (for a current or previous account)
How do you know I referred the customer? –You will be assigned an referrer
ID number to be used to refer customers. This ID can be inserted in the query string of a link to our site, or it can be entered on the order form manually when the customer signs up for their account.
How do you track referrals I send? –In 2 ways. First we put a cookie on the referrals computer (if they accept cookies), which will last for up to 1 year. Secondly, we record the IP address with your referrer ID, in our database when they are referred by your link.
What if 2 different affiliates refer the same customer? – The last affiliate to refer the customer will get credit for the customer. The reasoning is that the last referrer had more influence in the customer’s decision to sign up.
What if the customer had an account with Aquest in the past? –They are not a ‘New Customer’ and will not be qualified for payment under this program.
Do I get paid if the new customer uses a Promotional code? – No. The use of a Promo code will disqualify the account from consideration for payment in the affiliate program.
I referred an account and they signed up, but it is not showing on my ‘Affiliate | Reports’ screen. –It should show up immediately on your reports screen, after the new customer signs up. If it does not, issue a Trouble Ticket immediately letting us know the domain name or whatever information you know about the account, and will try to help you get credit for the account. *Under no circumstances will we do this 30 days or more after the account has signed up.
Can Aquest tell me what accounts I’ve referred? –No. Due to our privacy agreements with our customers, we cannot share information given to us in confidence. You can ask, and you can provide specific details about the customer, and we can try to answer your questions, but please understand that we have to respect and honor our agreements with our customers. For instance, if you ask us if ‘Company A’ signed up as a referral, we could say yes or no, but we cannot provide names or information about any of our customers without their explicit permission.
